According to investigation a Nigerian suspect Jeffrey Okafor, accused of murdering nineteen year old British CBBC television channel star Carl Beatson-Asiedu in the UK in 2009, escaped from justice to Nigeria on his brother’s passport.
British law enforcement officers found out that 24-year old Jeffrey Okafor could escape justice using his brother’s passport.
He is accused of stabbing to death British actor Carl Beatson-Asiedu outside a nightclub in 2009. He denies charges. However, police tracked his phone calls.

“After the attack, Jeffrey Okafor actually confessed to a girlfriend that he had stabbed Carl Beatson” prosecutor Sarah Whitehouse told press.
He escaped arrest when police went to his house and managed to take flight to Lagos a few days later on his brother’s passport.

Later he was tracked down by Nigerian police on request of their British counterparts.
Despite the fugitive’s frequent change of identity and locations, the operatives were still able to keep a tab on him without raising any suspicion. All the necessary required procedures to enable the handover of the fugitive to the UK Authorities have already been concluded.

Okafor was extradited from Nigeria in November 2014.
