I am sure everybody is aware of the cancer patient Mayowa who Nollywood actress Toyin Aimakhu helped raise money so she could seek medical help abroad.
There has been a rumour going around that the N32million raised was a scam, that her family had given up on her because Mayowa’s ovarian cancer had spread to the liver so her sickness is terminal. Some even went as far as saying the patient is not sick but Mayowa is indeed diagnosed with cancer as reported here. Mayowa’s situation had touched many who put money together to raise money but it seems many have been scammed.
