Stampede During A Rap Concert 24 Confirmed Dead

Stampede could not have been avoided with the massive turnout of an uncontrollably crowd during a rap concert on Conakry beach on Tuesday which left at least 24 people dead, Guinean hospital officials confirmed.

The Guinean government declared a week of national mourning after what it called a “tragic drama” on the beach in the capital city’s northern Ratoma suburb where the popular Guinean rap group ‘Instinct Killers’ was playing.
