Late Prince music is
currently holding every position in the Top 5 of the official album chart, fans
paying tribute to the late musician Prince have pushed his albums to the top of
the charts.
The Very Best Of
compilation is at number one and if it remains there on Friday, it will become
Prince's sixth number one album in the UK.
It is followed in the Top 5
by Ultimate, Purple Rain, The Hits / The B-Sides, and Sign O' The Times.
The late musician's fans
have also ensured that Prince's hit song Purple Rain takes second place on the
official singles chart.
When Doves Cry has also
re-entered the charts at number six, followed by Kiss at 11, Raspberry Beret at
15, 1999 at 17 and Little Red Corvette at 26.
The musician was found
collapsed in a lift by staff members last Thursday after last being seen alive
12 hours earlier.
His brother-in-law Maurice
Phillips has claimed the singer worked for six days non-stop before his death.
