It’s not something you see every day and probably not something many people that lives in Kent will ever see again.
According to report, drivers in Coldred, near Dover
in Kent, could dairy believe it on Tuesday when they saw around 30 of the
animals stampeding towards them.
Many vehicles were forced to stop for a
few moments as they lactose abilities needed to navigate around the chaos at
around 5.30am.
Breakdown technician Joe Clift – who promised he wasn’t milking it – managed to capture the whole thing on camera while he was on his way to a job.
The 28-year-old from Medway said: ‘I was
in pure shock because It’s really strange to see. It was like a weird dream.
They were literally sprinting up the road.
‘When I noticed traffic had built up in
front of me and cars had put their hazard lights on, I stopped and left a big
gap, and then about 30 cows emerged from the traffic.
‘There were a lot of big cows then there were little calves in between them as well, but they were all just running away from something, and I was caught in the middle.’
The animals were seen weaving through vehicles and past Joe’s driver door as he leaned out of the window to capture the cattle-clysmic scenes.
They were apparently making a lot of
noise, but no sound can be heard in the video because Joe said he couldn’t help
but swear at the scenes.
He added he was pleased to have recorded
the cow-incidence because ‘nobody would have believed him’ otherwise.
Kent Police were called to the scene
shortly after and helped remove the unruly cows from the busy stretch of road.
Dad-of-two Joe said: ‘It only lasted about a minute, then all the traffic started moving again. It went by in a flash, so it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience.
