Popular veteran Yoruba actor, Alhaji Toyosi Arigbabuwo has died.
The Yoruba movie industry
is presently mourning the actor who died at his residence, in Apete in Ibadan,
the Oyo State capital, on Monday.
A family source confirmed
the news of Arigbabuwo’s death in a chat with Dailypost said “Are you not aware
that he has been sick for almost a year now. He has been sick over six months
ago. He died yesterday. He died at his residence yesterday night.
“He will be buried around
10.00 am today”.
Toyosi Arigbabuwo featured
in many Yoruba home movies among whom are Ogborielemosho, Bashorun Gaa and
other movies in the 80’s and 90’s.
