Former President Obasanjo, Is Chairperson To Mark Afe Babalola’s 50th Call To The Bar

Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, is expected to chair activities marking the golden jubilee anniversary that legal luminary, Chief Afe Babalola, SAN, was called to the Bar of England and Wales, on July 9, 2013.
The acitivities of the 50th annivesary were put together by past and present members of the legal icon’s chamber, Emmanuel, which are expected to commence with the commissioning of the new office complex of Emmanuel Chambers at Adamasingba, Ibadan, on the same date at 10.00 a.m.
A lecture to be delivered by former Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, Chairman Justice Emmanuel Ayoola (rtd) will hold at the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Centre, Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo State, where two documents will be presented to the public; a book comprising some of the articles written by very senior members of the Bar in honour of Chief Afe Babalola and a compilation of some articles, lectures and speeches written and delivered over the years by the legal luminary.
