Former US President is Forced to Make Emergency Landing

According to Sky news, a private jet carrying former US President George W. Bush was forced to make an emergency landing after the smell of smoke was reported in the cockpit.
The Federal Aviation Administration said on Sunday the the jet was flying from Philadelphia to Dallas, where Mr Bush lives.

It was diverted to Louisville, Kentucky, after reports of the smell of smoke onboard. No one was hurt.
Freddy Ford, a spokesman for Mr Bush, said that after a brief stop the plane continued on to Dallas.
FAA spokeswoman Holly Baker said the Gulfstream 4 eventually landed at Dallas Love Field.
Mr Bush is honourary chairman of The First Tee, an initiative which supports youth education programmes through golf, and was returning from an event in Philadelphia.
