Jessica Simpson Gives Birth To Boy

Jessica Simpson's daughter has a new playmate - a baby brother named Ace.

Simpson's representative confirmed that the entertainer gave birth to Ace Knute in Los Angeles on Sunday in a planned caesarean section.
He is the second child for Simpson and her fiance, Eric Johnson. Simpson gave birth to their daughter Maxwell Drew in May last year.

At her baby shower in April, Simpson said she was "so excited" to be expecting a boy.
"I didn't grow up with a brother and I think the unknown is really exciting. I can’t wait to have that connection with our little man," she said.

Simpson became a household name after starring in the TV reality show Newlyweds with then-husband and boy band singer Nick Lachey.
The pair divorced after three years of marriage.

Simpson currently designs clothing, accessories and other fashion products for her eponymous label, and is a mentor on the reality show Fashion Star.
Following a 70lb weight gain during her first pregnancy, she became a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers and appeared in adverts before announcing her second pregnancy around Christmas last year.
