Kanye Sues Over Airport 'Attack

A photographer is suing American hip-hop artist and songwriter Kanye West, claiming he was attacked by him at Los Angeles International Airport.

Daniel Ramos is alleging assault, battery, negligence and violation of his civil rights.

The lawsuit was filed on Wednesday and referred to an incident on July 19.
Ramos is one of a number of paparazzi who stake out the airport in the hopes of getting pictures of celebrities.

On the day in question he says West stopped and spoke to him, then suddenly punched him in an unprovoked attack and grabbed his camera.
The district attorney's office last week decided not to bring charges against West, saying Ramos had not received a significant injury.

However, the city attorney's office is still considering whether to file misdemeanour charges.
A lawyer for Kanye, who has a daughter - North - by Kim Kardashian, could not be found to comment.
