Kim Kardashian has revealed that her post-baby weight loss is down to the Atkins diet.
The new mum, who gave birth to daughter North West back in June, admitted to a fan on Twitter that the controversial regime has helped her to shed the pregnancy pounds.
"I've actually been doing the Atkins diet & luv it," she tweeted, in reponse to a fan's tweet that read, "Need to know @KimKardashian secret on how she's lost so much weight."
Atkins is a low-carb diet, created by Dr. Robert Atkins, that involves eating protein-heavy foods. It encourages followers not to worry about counting calories but rather focus on the amount of carbohydrates that they're consuming.
Reality TV star Kim wowed fans when she stepped out in Paris last month, having swapped the baggy clothes that she had been wearing since giving birth to her first child with boyfriend Kanye West for her usual attire of figure-hugging dresses.
She attended the Givenchy show in a skintight black dress that showed off her cleavage, before changing into a cutout black gown that bared a substantial amount of skin.
It seems Kim has been combining her Atkins diet with an exercise regime – she was spotted hitting the gym while in Paris and she is also said to have been visiting high-energy circuit training class Barry's Bootcamp in LA with Kanye.
In the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim revealed that she was keen to regain her pre-pregnancy body as soon as possible.
"I will be sexiest hot mom," she said during a conversation with her sisters. "As soon as this is done I want to do Playboy or some naked shoot."
