Dozens of sightseers have plunged into a wharf after a footbridge collapsed at a Chinese tourist attraction.
The accident occurred when visitors were crossing the footbridge to board the Sima Ferry on Lushan Mountain, Jiangxi province.
CCTV shows visitors crossing the bridge when it suddenly falls into two metres of water, leading to chaotic scenes as they scrabble to safety while park employees launch a rescue operation.
No casualties were reported, but more than 10 injured visitors were sent to a local hospital for treatment, according to authorities.
Park employees said the wharf was put into operation in September and could manage a daily capacity of 10,000 visitors, however it only received about 5,000 visitors on that day.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
