Simon Ex-Girlfriend To Be God Mother To Baby Eric

Singer Sinitta is thrilled to be godmother to Simon Cowell’s new son Eric with partner Lauren Silverman, and shared the happy news on Mother’s Day in the UK.
The former pop star enjoyed a special meal to celebrate Mothering Sunday with her parent but children and her ex-boyfriend Simon. It was there the X Factor boss gave her the chance to become a part of their tight knit unit.

“Wanted you to be the first (well after my mom and children) to hear about my next Serious New Role..Drum Roll,” she told 156,000 followers on Twitter. “At Mothers Day lunch with Mom, Magdalena,Zac, @JasonJGale @SimonCowell I was asked to be GodMother to Baby Eric !!!X.”

Alongside it the petite TV personality showed off a snap of herself holding the youngster, wrapped up in a blue blanket. The 45-year-old – who has dated Simon on-and-off for 20 years after meeting him aged 14 – has blamed the break-up of their relationship on her desiring a family and him looking to explore a life without offspring.

She has two adopted children, Magdalena and Zac, but tragically suffered four miscarriages herself and a surrogate mother for her and former husband Andy Willner has miscarried twice.

Her choosing of motherhood comes after spending the first six years of her life in a foster home. Simon, 54, is known for maintaining strong relationships with his former flames and Sinitta is just one of them who will be in baby Eric’s life.
