Harper Collins mentions the massive erotica hit that preceded Williams’ effort in their description, explaining:
“Move over 50 Shades, there’s a new romance in town. Superstar Wendy Williams brings on the heat in her first ever, no-holds-barred, down and dirty, romance novel.”
The book centers on “beautiful, smart lawyer” Kimberly Kind, who came up from a rough and tumble background to forge a successful career in law. After a “terrible accident” that threatens her stability, she’s “hiding a huge secret.”
The description adds:
“Enter King. A perfect mix of Justin Timberlake and David Beckham, the man oozes sex and has more swagger than anyone Kim’s ever met. Their chemistry is off the charts. Wendy Williams’ newest book (aimed at “Wendy Watchers”) is available for pre-order. But it’s not her first book, just her first romance — above, she discusses her previous efforts writing and publishing.
