Corrupt Police Beaten And Tied Up

In an afternoon incident yesterday in Kwara State, a police officer was thoroughly beaten after he and his colleagues allegedly shot a driver after he refused to part with some money they were demanding from him.
Eye-witness indicate that the police officers had approached the driver who was delivering some telecom equipment along Patigi, a road in Kwara.

They demand that he gives them money but the driver failed to comply.

What followed was an argument that went out of hand and one of the police officers shot the driver in the arm.

A crowd of angry people descended on those police officers but they all, except one, managed to escape. He was made to pay for the sins of all the others that ran away.
