Ogun State Police Command, yesterday, arrested five suspected ritualists, including two women, with human head and other parts in Joju area of Ota in Ado Odo-Ota local government.
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement, said the suspects were arrested during a joint operation by men of the state Police Command and the Special Anti- Robbery Squad from Lagos Command.
The suspects were reportedly caught following a tip-off.
“The Divisional Police Officer in charge Otta Division, CSP Gabreal Idibie, led a team of operatives to assist the SARS Lagos, who got first hand information, to Joju area where the five suspects were arrested and exhibits recovered for further investigation and adequate prosecution,” Adejobi said.
“The suspects arrested are Kubura Salami, Tantolorun Abimbola, Kafaya Popoola, Wahid Ibrahim and Adamu Rafiu.”
