Kidnap Victims Demands An Apology From 'Fashion Police' Boss Joane Rivers

Lawyers for two women kidnapped and held for a decade have called for American comedian Joan Rivers to apologise after she compared her living arrangements to theirs in captivity.
Rivers and her daughter were discussing their reality show on the Today show when she complained about living in her daughter's guest room.
"Those women in the basement in Cleveland had more space," she said.

A statement from lawyers for Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus called Rivers' remark hurtful and shocking.
They said the women have endured painful media attention and the comment is "a new low" that warrants an apology.
Rivers is known for her outspoken comments about people in the public eye. Her publicist has not responded to messages seeking comment.
Ms Berry, Ms DeJesus and a third woman, Michelle Knight, escaped last year.
Their kidnapper, Ariel Castro, hanged himself in prison in September.
