Another Gunmen Attack In Plateau

Five people fall victims of gunmen attack on Rakun Village in Barkinladi LGA of the state; as violence in Plateau continues.

Premium Times reports with reference to the spokesperson of the Special Taskforce on Jos crisis (STF) Ikedichi Iweha that the 2 suspected attackers were amongst the five recovered corpses. However the PPRO Abuh Emmanuel provided another data on casualties saying:

"The DPO in charge of the area reported the incident Tuesday morning. Three people died in the incident."

Security personnel was said to have been directed to the area in search of suspects.

The bloodshed comes the next day after heavily armed gunmen stormed two villages located in Lagtang area of Plateau State killing 10 people, including a mother with her children.

Beni Lar representing the zone lamented that their localities had started facing another wave of violence after a relative peace had established in the area.
