Jennifer Turned 45 Years Today

JLo is 45 years old today, happy birthday! She has lived a fulfilled life career wise looking back at her life.
Jennifer Lopez was born in 1969 in the Bronx borough of New York city.

Now an actress, author, fashion designer, dancer, producer, and singer, Jennifer first made the decision to enter the entertainment industry in the 1980s, and by 1998 had become the first Latina actress to earn over $1million for a film - the crime comedy Out of Sight.

She entered the music industry in 1999 with her debut album On The 6 which gained a warm critical response and included the hit singles Waiting For Tonight and If You Had My Love.

During the recording process for her second album Jennifer decided to change her images, and adopted the name JLo which had been given to her by fans.

The Hispanic beauty continued to maintain both a successful music and film career and in 2001 she became the first person to ever hold the number one spot in music and at the box office.

In 2003 though, Jennifer received lacklustre reviews for her film Gigli, which also starred her then-fiancé Ben Affleck.

One of the entertainment industry's biggest chameleons, Jennifer is able to evolve and change her style in a way that many are unable to do.

She became a judge on the hugely popular American Idol during its tenth season, and in 2014 performed at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup.

Jennifer was married to a waiter for three years in the 1990s, before dating rapper Puff Daddy. After splitting with her second husband, dancer Cris Judd, she began a high profile relationship to actor Ben Affleck, to whom she got engaged.

After their split Jennifer began dating her long-time friend Marc Anthony and after six months the pair married and went on to have two children - Maximillian and Emme - who are now six.

The couple split in 2011 and Jennifer soon began dating Casper Smart. Jennifer's divorce to Marc was finalised in 2014, just months after
her relationship with Casper also ended.
