A UPS worker stole a
diamond worth $160,000 (£100,000) and exchanged it for $20 of cannabis, police
say.
Walter Earl Morrison, 20,
allegedly swiped a package containing the precious gem while working in the
cargo section of an airport in Phoenix, Arizona.
According to court
documents, he was unloading a plane when he stuffed a package he thought
contained cash under his shirt.
A UPS spokesperson told
KNXV the jewel was recovered and delivered to the customer.
Morrison was fired and has
been charged with felony theft.
