Atiku Declares Intention To Run For Presidential Election In 2015

Nigeria’s former Vice President under President Olusegun Obasanjo’s regime, Atiku Abubakar has finally declared his intention to run in next year’s Presidential election.
This was made known today through his media aide, Malam Garba Shehu who said that he would run under the umbrella of his new party, The All Progressives Congress (APC).

In the words of Atiku : “This is not about me, it is about our young people. It is about Nigerians. It is their future, not the past. It is about reforming government, securing the people and reconciling the nation”.

The statement released by Shehu also went on to say the Atiku views 2015 as a special and potential turning point for the nation’s history.
