‘How I started eating human flesh’ – Baboola (Watch Video)

Ummmmh interesting, please watch video, I find it quite disturbing though. US-based film maker Matthew Goldman travelled to Uganda where he spoke with the local cannibal, who narrated his story about why and how he started eating human flesh.
There is increasing number cannibalism cases being recorded in Uganda, with the first incident documented in 2011 in the University of Cologne by the professor who wrote a book about the practice.
This March a woman and her child were allegedly killed and eaten in Rakai district of the country. Thirteen people were arrested in connection with the case.
According to the reports within the last few months Uganda citizens have been keeping to a strict night curfew in fear of cannibals. It is believed also that locals are destroying homes and businesses of suspected cannibals to get rid of the evil practice.
Leader of the Lord’s Resistance Army Josph Kony was accused of cannibalism with reports saying he makes soldiers drink enemies’ blood.
In the recent interview with Goldman the Ugandan self-professed cannibal identified as Baboola spoke about his life and how he first tasted flesh being a child.
Meanwhile Goldman’s interlocutor Baboola said he first tried human flesh after having been told by his brother-in-law that the meat was “good” and he should try it. His relative told Baboola it was not a bad thing.
Baboola, the cannibal from Uganda
He does not kill people, but eats those who are already dead, as the just deceased people “taste” better, the man says.
When asked about why he started eating people, Baboola said he had “no choice” because of having been given a “magic spell”.

The cannibal claims he has given up eating people, however confesses that once in a while he cheats on “a special occasion”.
Unfortunately, Nigeria is also familiar with the cases of cannibalism. A dire crime has been recently recorded in Niger State. A woman allegedly abducted her 9-year-old grandson, killed him and later shared his flesh with other member of the cult.
