Olay's First Global Brand Ambassador is Katie Holmes

Katie Holmes has been unveiled as the new face of skincare brand Olay.

The 35-year-old actress is the brand's first ever Global Brand Ambassador, and will be representing their Your Best Beautiful campaign, which encourages women around the world to be their best both in their lives and their skin.

"I've very excited to be the Olay Global Brand Ambassador," said the Dawson's Creek actress. "Olay is a brand I respect, trust and believe in. I love the products and message to women to never settle and put their best face forward, every day."

Katie has already begun her work for the beauty brand, filming a commercial for Oil of Olay in the East Village in New York.

The striking brunette looked elegant in a red halterneck dress with a gold belt and bracelet, teamed with a yellow clutch bag, however it was her choice of footwear which caught fans' attention.

The Batman Begins star opted for some white trainers rather than heels, possibly to withstand the long hours of filming.

Rocking poker straight hair and soft smokey eyes, Katie was in high spirits throughout the shoot, spotted laughing and smiling in between takes.

The star showcased her flawless skin as she posed for the cameras. Recently revealing that she would never get a tattoo, Katie was seen getting in touch with her inner rebel as she had a stick-on tattoo applied to her neck. at the Old Navy Spring 2015 runway show during New York Fashion Week.

The American beauty recently relocated with her daughter Suri Cruise from Manhattan to Calabasas in California, reportedly deciding that LA is a better place to raise her eight-year-old daughter.
