Infuriated Eighteen Year Old Poured Hot Water n Killed Husband

An Eighteen year-old housewife, Aisha Jibrin has been accused of killing her husband, Mohammad Auwal Ladan with hot water in Bauchi state.
According to Daily Sun report, Aisha and her husband have had quarrels in the past.

On one occasion, her husband had accused her of committing abortion without his consent and reportedly beaten her, making her to lose one of her front teeth.

Also her husband was said to be angry over her habitual watching of home videos which made her neglect her prayers.

According to a close family friend who pleaded anonymity, the newly wedded couple started having issues when the husband heard his wife had committed abortion.

“He was so very livid that he pounced on her. Auwal a civil servant hit his wife with his hand up to the extent that she sustained serious injury on her mouth and eventually broke one of her front teeth,” the family friend said.

Recounting the incident, the family friend said on the day of the incident, Auwal had come home from work and met his wife watching home video. He then asked if she’d said her prayers but she said no and he asked her why, she couldn’t give any explanation.  

After some time, he came out from the bedroom and found her still watching the video. In a spate of anger, he stopped the DVD player, brought out the CD plate and broke it, after which he went into the bathroom to shower.

An infuriated Aisha who could not take her husband’s humiliation any longer decided to take matters into her hands.
She was said to have gone into the bathroom where her husband was having his bath, poured hot water on him and ran away.

She was said to have poured hot water on the unsuspecting Mohammad Auwal Ladan who was taking his bath, landing him in hospital and subsequently his early grave.
“The husband shouted and writhed in pain, and was later rushed to the hospital. Four days later he was brought back home where he died,” the family friend said.

Aisha has been arraigned at the Chief Magistrate Court 7, Bauchi for the crime.
