‘Nigeria needs divine intervention’ - Bola Tinubu

The former governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has revealed to Nigerians what the country really need at this time.

Tinubu, who is also a National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in his Eid-el-Kabir message from his media Office on Saturday in Lagos, called on Nigerians to pray to God to bring disciplined leaders that would help transform the country by making things work.

The former governor while speaking on the state of the nation reveals that Nigeria needs divine intervention.

“Nigeria needs help. The problems we ought to have overcome now threaten to overcome us. Millions of our people endure the daily grind of poverty and deprivation,” he said.

Tinubu lamented that in the midst of plenty, the country remained empty, but expressed optimism that Nigeria would experience a new day.

The APC chieftain who congratulated Muslims for being alive to witness another celebration also reiterated that the task of rebuilding Nigeria needs collective efforts which he said could only be achieved with sacrifices made by Nigerians.

Meanwhile, the APC national leader on September 30, 2014, in a statement captioned: ‘A Return to Decency’, which was issued in Lagos, called on Nigerians to embark on a common sense revolution.


It would be recalled that on October 3, 2014, Senate President, David Mark and former governor of Lagos State and a National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Bola Tinubu, on Friday held separate closed-door meetings with the former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
