Lady Gaga’s Snaps 50 Selfies For 2015 New Year Brand Campaign

 According to Daily Mail, Lady Gaga is taking 50 selfies for Shiseido's newest ad campaign, in an effort to show the 'real' effects of the beauty brand's products.
The 28-year-old pop star photographed herself for the Shiseido 2015 New Year's campaign, which will appear in different Japanese newspapers over the New Year period.

Forty-six of of the images will be published on January 1 and the remaining four will be released on January 5, according to WWD.

Though there are no plans to use the images outside of Japan, Lady Gaga will no doubt post the selfies on her social media accounts.

Shiseido isn't the first brand to utilize the selfie for a campaign, however.

Calvin Klein launched #MyCalvins, which featured the likes of Kendall Jenner, Vanessa Hudgens and Miranda Kerr post skimpy photos wearing their Calvin Klein underwear.
