The difference between today and tomorrow is literally a matter of seconds. Plenty of babies are delivered in the middle of the night. So babies that are born close to midnight may arrive on different days.
That is
exactly what happened to two twin sisters who were born on November 9 and 10.
Robyn came first at 11.55pm on the Sunday and Scarlett followed at 12.13am on
the Monday.
The mother of
two wonderful baby girls Deborah said: “I never actually thought it would
happen. The closer it got to midnight, the more I joked they could have
different birthdays. ”Deborah Atherton said she and her husband, Stuart, will
let the girls decide when they are older if they want to celebrate their
birthdays separately.
There are
already three sets of twins in Deborah’s family – but none of them are
identical. She has sisters, an aunt and uncle and cousins who are all twins.
The girls who
will share many experiences in their life but for the same birthday, will be
allowed to decide (when they are older) whether they want to share a birthday
or have their own celebrations on separate days.
Twin would have not d same date on birth cert
