"Osinbajo React To Rumour Of Neglecting Father In Village

"Whilst the old man is not biologically related to me, we are related because he is a Nigerian, and someone's father".

The vice-presidential candidate Professor Yemi Osinbajo took to twitter, he reacted to claims that he left his father to suffer in a village in Ogun state.
A few days ago, a photo of a poor man sitting down, resting his back on the wall of a mud house went viral. The obviously helpless-looking man was allegedly said to be the father of the vice-presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Professor Yemi Osinbajo. This might have been because of the striking semblance between the old man and the pastor cum politician. See the picture above.
The opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party further fuelled the seeming ‘allegations’, that the vice-presidential candidate had left his father to suffer in a village in Ogun state while he enjoys life in Lagos.
However, Professor Osinbajo has stated that the person in the photo is not related to him in any way. He further said that the photo was taken during one of his political tours to Ogun state. Osinbajo took to his Twitter account, saying that his own father died on July 22, 1996, and that his mother, who is 82 years old, is alive and well in Lagos.

    PDP people's doomed party. Pls give better news on missing girls. Osinbajo father is dead and his mum is doing fine. Even goes for vacation abroad..... He is a man of honour o unlike Jonathan vs Patience con spoil matter join. Yeye pple.

    so funny how pple could twist story and use picture to prove it, calm Osinbajo trying to help the less fortunate, his kindness was used against him. thank god for social media
