Newly Wed Governor Clears Rumour About Wife

Clarifying speculations surrounding Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole marriage in Auchi on Sunday at a thanksgiving Mass, the Edo state governor said his wife was not a model.

He has described his marriage to his beautiful wife, Lara, as a God directed marriage. 

The governor has also addressed speculations making rounds in the media that his wife was a top model. 

Following his marriage to his new wife, the media has been awash with news that Oshiomhole had tied the knot with a top class model, Lara Forte, a Cape Verde national, and former air hostess at Emirate Airlines.

 

According to Vanguard, the Edo state governor has however, dismissed speculations in the media as untrue. He added that her beauty might have made some to assume that she was a model prior to their marriage. 

He said he often wondered who they were talking about when he read comments in the newspapers that he had married a model. 

 

The governor speaking in metaphorical terms said his wife is a model in his heart and hopes and prays they both become models in the heart of God.   

Oshiomhole also noted that his new wife is not a replacement for his late wife, Clara, who died of cancer in 2010. He described Clara as irreplaceable.
