Mother Aggressively Beats Son, Almost Go Blind

A twitter user @Don_olatoki shared sad factual story of Child Abuse in ilorin. According to the twitter user, the boy in the picture above was beaten beyond recognition, he almost go blind.
His mother beat him for for stealing N500, she said this is not her first time of punishing him that bad, she does the same to his sister aswell..

This has led to controversy on twitter, some agreed with the corporal purnishment while some disagreed.  What do you think?
