Female Nigerian singer Seyi
Shay recently signed a recording deal with the Island Records has released her
first single under the label.
The single titled, “Right
Now” talks about the sweet memories of love and attraction, taking a slow-dance
reggae approach with a very catchy tune that showcases Seyi Shay’s voice in a
way you have never heard before.
The single was produced by
award winning producer and songwriter, ‘Harmony Sammuels’ who has also done a
couple of jobs for the likes of Ariana Grande, Chris Brown, Fantastia, Kelly
Rowland and many more.
The song which follows a
succession of previously released successful hits like Murda, Crazy, Jangilova
among others, shows the singer’s enormous talent as she continues to dominate
the space as one of Africa’s most talented female singers.
No wonder, she got multiple
nomination Best Female and Video of the Year awards for the forthcoming MTV Africa Music Awards.
