The suspect, who said he went back to robbery due to poverty, is currently being interrogated by operatives of Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, at Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Onikan.
After spending six years at Ikoyi Maximum Prison, Lagos, a 27-year-old man, Ogaga Feja, has been re-arrested by police in Lagos for robbing motorist at Mile 2.
He was arrested alongside Daniel Thomas and Emeka Nkem, while attempting to snatch a car.

Feja, who is a native of Delta State, said that poverty drove him into robbery a few weeks after his released from prison.
He said: “I was released in May after six years in Ikoyi Prison awaiting trial over a case of armed robberry.

“I was granted bail by the court, but the case is still on.”
He said his journey to prison began in 2009 when anti-robbery policemen, attached to Ajeromi Police Station, raided a criminal hideout in the neighbourhood.
He said: “I was arrested with some notorious criminals terrorising Ajegunle at that time and the police felt I was part of the gang.
“We were taken to Area ‘B’ Command, Apapa, for interrogation and was later transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, before being charged to court.

“When I came out of prison, there was no job and my family is poor. I needed to get some-thing doing to help myself.”
