made a fortune after selling a cleaning business he started as a teenager, and
decided to use the money for good.
He reportedly spent more
than $25,000 (£16,000) of his own money every year on Batman toys for sick
children.
The divorcee began visiting
hospitals in 2001, sometimes with his son, Brandon, playing the superhero's
sidekick, Robin.
Hope For Henry, a charity
for children battling cancer, paid tribute to Mr Robinson in a statement.
