The
Seventy-five years-old, has been a coach on the BBC Voice UK show since 2012,
will not return for the fifth series which begins filming in September.

The Delilah singer's
exit from the show comes as a shock, as he only spoke of his hopes to return to
The Voice in July, telling BBC Newsbeat: "I hope to be sat back in my
chair with Will.i.am and Ricky Wilson. We are all friends, I love being on the
show and I would love to be back if they want me."
Tom has been
replaced by eighties icon Boy George who said he is "thrilled" to be
appearing on the BBC entertainment show.
"I'm
thrilled and excited to be a coach on The Voice UK. I'm a huge fan of the show
and have watched and engaged with it from series one. If I can help someone to
win I will be delighted," Boy George said. "What a wonderful
opportunity to share my experiences and help someone move forward with their
musical career. I can't wait to sit in that chair!"
