Patrick and Constance
Adams, who were extradited from the Netherlands, have also been charged with
possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
The married couple have
been charged with attempted murder over the shooting of a man in London in
December 2013.
They are due to appear at
Westminster Magistrates Court today.
Patrick, 59, and Constance
Adams, 55, were arrested on a street in Amsterdam in August.
They are accused of
shooting a man as he sat in his car in Clerkenwell, central London, a week
before Christmas in 2013.
The man was shot in the
chest but managed to get out of the car and call for help. He was taken to
hospital and survived his injuries.
