Empty Plane Sent Out To Stranded Tourists

British intelligence believe a bomb may have brought down a Russian airliner 23 minutes after it left Sharm on Saturday, killing all 224 people on board.
So an empty passenger planes will be flown to Sharm el Sheikh to bring home thousands of UK tourists stranded in the Egyptian resort.

It comes after the Government cancelled all flights between Britain and Sharm el Sheikh airport over security concerns.

Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond told Sky News there is a "significant possibility" an Islamic State (IS) affiliate downed the aircraft.

Up to 20,000 British nationals are believed to be in Sharm, with dozens stranded at the airport.

Emergency short-term measures to fly them home should be in place tomorrow, Mr Hammond said.
