The strictly come dancing judges
chose to eliminate r n b singer and TV presenter Jamelia from the competition
after she was in the dance off against Peter Andre.
The TV presenter and her professional dance
partner Tristan MacManus, who have been in the dance off several times this
series, performed a quickstep to The Monkees’ song I’m a Believer in a bid to
impress the judges.
Jamelia has become the
eighth contestant to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing after the live show in
Blackpool's Tower Ballroom. Speaking about her experience, the singer said:
"I’m sorry to go but I do have to say that I’ve had the most fantastic
time."
