Chief Sunday Adewusi, the former inspector general of police in Nigeria passed away.

Chief Adewusi died at age seventy-nine on Tuesday the night the 25^th of January 2016 at the National Hospital, Area 11, Abuja.

Sunday Adedayo Adewusi (born, Ogbomoso, Nigeria) was a Nigerian Policeman and former Inspector General of Police. He was appointed in 1981 to succeed Adamu Suleiman and was succeeded by Etim Inyang in 1983.
