Eight Nigerian Athletes Ban From Sport Activities

Some skilful Nigerian athletes were reported to have tested positive at the 2015 All Africa Games held in Congo and have been banned for four years except, a weightlifter, Elizabeth Owuah who was banned for eight years.

According to the Minister of Youth and Sport, Solomon Dalung the athletes who tested positive to illegal drugs who all be banned from sport activities.

 The eight Nigerian athletes who tested positive to prohibited drugs are; Samson Idiata (Athletics) Sunday Ezeh (Para-athletics), Thomas Kure (Para-powerlifting) Patience Opuene (Wrestling), James Igbadiwei, Deborah Odeyemi and Chinazom Amadi.
