Former Speaker Of Ondo-State House Of Assembly Kidnapped

Victor Olabintan’s abduction came 48 hours after he declared his intention to vie for the All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship ticket in Ondo State.

The former speaker of the Ondo state House of Assembly, Victor Olabintan, has been reportedly kidnapped in Abuja.

The Secretary of the Olabintan Campaign Organization, Mr. Gboyega Ajayi, confirmed to journalists on telephone that the ex- Speaker was kidnapped on his way to Abuja.

He said the APC chieftain was kidnapped at kwali after he was flagged down at a military checkpoint by fake soldiers who turn out to be kidnappers. 

According to Ajayi, police personnel in Abuja are currently on the kidnappers’ trail.
