Aside the motor park to be
commission today, Wada is also expected to commission the Kogi hotel; renovated
and expanded by his administration before exiting government.
Governor Idris Wada of Kogi
State will today formally dissolve his executive cabinet.
The governor will also commission
the Lokoja Mega Park, as part of the projects to wind-down his four-year
tenure.
The transition committee,
headed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Olugbemiro Jegede, is
also expected to brief the governor before submitting its document to the
governor-elect’s transition committee.
The governor’s tenure will
end on January 26, and would be handing-over power to the governor-elect,
Yahaya Bello, on Wednesday, January 27; which will not give room for another
Wednesday weekly exco meeting.
The governor after the last
November election (which he lost), has commissioned the ultra- modern Odu-ogboyaga Specialist hospital, and
flag-off the N4.8 billion Ganaja fly-over bridge.
