The celebrity went the
extra mile to give her new range that personal touch, revealing she had signed
a series of the lipsticks for fans. "… the first 100 pre-orders get a
Perry Panther lipstick signed by me!" she explained, causing a social
media frenzy amongst her fans.
Singer Katy Perry has
delighted beauty addicts everywhere with the news that she has launched a
collection of lipsticks with CoverGirl. The 31-year-old couldn't wait to show
off the new shades, rocking pink and berry lipsticks from the collection as she
hit the Coachella music festival over the weekend.
The Roar hit-maker first
took to Twitter to announce her exciting new venture, writing to her 86.9
million followers. "After several wonderful years of BEING the face, I now
get to CREATE the face!" she said of her work with CoverGirl, for whom she
has been a brand ambassador since 2013.
Katy then gave her
followers a sneak peek at the new 'Kitty Kat Collection', revealing the 13
lipsticks' feline-themed names: Sphynx, Pink Paws, Magenta Mix, Coral Cat, Cat
Call, Kitty Purry, Cosmo Kitty, Maroon Meow, Catoure, Perry Panther, Purrsian
Pink, Tame Tiger – as well as a matte shade, Crimson Cat. The new range will
also include two mascaras in black and blue.
