Islamic Funeral Program Held For Mohammed Ali

The casket of Muhammad Ali arrives for an Islamic prayer service at the Kentucky Exposition Center on June 9, 2016 in Louisville, Kentucky.Thursday 9th of June 2016, a Muslim funeral was held for Muhammad Ali with thousands of his fans and admirers in attendance as they paid their last respects to the legendary boxer.

According to Reuters, an estimated 14,000 people were in attendance of the “jenazah” or funeral in Arabic.

Held in the boxer’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, mourners prayed over the body of the three-time heavyweight champion known for his showmanship, political activism and devotion to humanitarian causes.
