The Premier League
champions have committed the Nigeria international Ahmed Musa to a four-year
deal at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester City announced
the signing of Ahmed Musa from CSKA Moscow, the club confirmed on Friday.
Musa becomes the Foxes
fourth signing so far in the summer, after Nampalys Mendy, Ron-Robert Zieler
and Luis Hernandez all agreed to join Claudio Ranieri's team.
"Known for his
electric pace and clinical finishing, Musa enjoyed his most productive season
for CSKA Moscow yet in 2015/16, netting 13 goals in 30 Russian Premier League
games to fire them to the Russian title," the club said in the statement
welcoming the Nigerian to the East Midlands.
"Blessed with natural
speed and agility, Musa can operate either on the wing or upfront."
And speaking to the club's
website, Musa said: I look forward to
seeing the fans in the new season and I will do my best to make them
happy."
"I joined because it’s
one of the best clubs in the Premier League and they are like a family.
"That’s why I joined
Leicester City and I’m very excited."
