According to ZimNews, the
victim’s mum had called the attention of a prophet after she noticed that her
daughter was having continuous menstruation.
The man of God living with
the HIV virus in Zimbabwe, Prophet Wellington Gase, has bagged 36 years
imprisonment for forcefully having carnal knowledge of one of his members and
infecting her with the deadly virus.
The pastor agreed to do a
3-day fasting and praying with the young girl in his custody. But instead of
praying for her, Gase who knew he had HIV virus, was said to have raped the
young girl thrice.
He threatened her never to
speak out about the incident as doing so can amount to grave consequences. He
was later arrested and taken to court where he was served justice.
A medical report which was
produced in court showed the victim had been infected with HIV.
