According to The Vanguard, the team returned on Sunday via the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja and were greeted by officials from the Ministry of Sports.
Team Nigeria Paralympics return to the country

The Team Nigeria Paralympics won a Nigerian-record 8 gold medals at the Rio Paralympic Games alongside two silver and two bronze medals.
The team also set six new world records in the process.

Having left for the 2016 Paralympics without any fanfare and on the heels of another disappointing Olympic Games show, the physically-challenged athletes lifted spirits high in Rio where they amassed a dozen medals.
The country’s best ever placement in the Paralympics was the 22nd position achieved in Sydney 2000.
