Olayinka on Friday, March
31, lamenting a remark made by Abdullahi said he is afraid that an end has come
for democracy in Nigeria.
The special assistant to
Ekiti state governor on media and communications Lere Olayinka has said he
feels like giving the All Progressives Congress spokesperson Bolaji Abdullahi a
slap.
Abdullahi had in statement
had blamed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the challenges faced by
Nigerians.
He said said: "We have
not forgotten the wasted 16 years you spent in government." But in a
Facebook post, Olayinka said: "Who foisted these imbeciles on us? Abdulai
was a stooge of Saraki for 14 yrs. He was a minister in PDP government.
Now he opens his mouth
'gbaga' like danfo door to say this. I am afraid with people like this,
democracy is set to take a leave in Nigeria," Olayinka said.
He further tweeted the
narrative of most of the politicians who left PDP for APC has changed.
Olayinka also accused the
APC spokesperson of being a stooge for the Senate President Bukola Saraki.
