The 27-year old man who is from Oregon, Joshua Brian Woltmon, pleaded guilty to sexual contact with poultry on June 21.
A Medford man who pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a chicken must register as a sex offender as part of his punishment.
According to Mail Tribune, Woltmon was also accused of exposing his genitals in public and menacing someone with a stick. The matter was reported to have taken place on Ma.
Apart from registering as a sex offender, he was sentenced to 20 days in Jackson County Jail plus two year’s probation.
Woltmon has a record of convictions and the most recent being second-degree criminal trespassing plus methamphetamine possession in June.
In 2014 he was charged with third-degree theft for stealing a bicycle and then in 2016, assaulted his mother and a man during an argument. He was charged with fourth-degree assault.
