President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday hosted the victorious Afro-basket 2017 winners the Nigeria National Female Basketball team - D'Tigress - at the executive council chamber of the presidential villa. He announced a reward of N1m each for the team.
The Basketball Team won the Afrobasket Championship title for the first time in 12 years in Mali. They defeated defending champions Senegal to win the trophy on Sunday night.
