Vice President Yemi
Osinbajo, SAN, on Tuesday, visited Edo State to commission projects that will
advance President Buhari’s economic plan.
During his visit, the Vice
President inspected and commissioned the ultra-modern 3 Million ton capacity BUA Cement Plant, located in Okpella, Benin
City. He also commissioned the Edo State Fertilizer and Chemical Company plant.
According to the Vice
President “There is no public resource
that can match the investment of the private sector. There is no other way to
grow this country without the active management of the private sector”
The Vice President was
received by Governor of Edo State, Governor Godwin Obaseki, and accompanied by
the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Okechukwu Enelamah and the
Minister of Agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbeh.
